Alternative tourism

Alternative tourism - is a new concept in the field of tourism and includes all forms of tourism, which attracts tourists with special interests. The following characteristics:

  • protection of the natural environment
  • avoid the classic tourist offers
  • conservation of ecosystems
  • human interaction with cultural monuments
  • support rural areas and finally
  • solving the problem of seasonal tourism
  • Spa tourism (SPA) - associated with visits to tourist sites for the treatment of various diseases, as well as rest and rejuvenation of body and soul.
  • Athletic leisure tourism - linked to all forms of active and passive participation in sporting events. Participation may be random or organized, may be used for business purposes or for other reasons.
  • Agritourism - growing, as the name suggests primarily in rural areas of the country and is associated with social, environmental and cultural values of the area.
  • Religious tourism - connected by visiting the Byzantine monuments, monuments of church architecture, churches and monasteries.
  • Marine tourism - includes a range of activities focusing on the sea (charter vessels, popular trips cruises etc).
  • Cultural Tourism - Tourism ideal format for those who want to discover and learn about the culture and the culture of various regions, to take active part in seminars and workshops, as well as knowledge of traditional art - Byzantine painting, photography, pottery, sculptures, murals musical instruments, etc.
  • Educational Tourism - aimed primarily at young people. The main purpose is learning (training traveler, specific knowledge, gain new experiences).

2.Religion Tourism
